All racing clubs and tracks in Victoria are governed by Racing Victoria Limited. The major tracks in Victoria are undoubtedly Flemington, Caulfield and Moonee Valley as they host some of the biggest races both nationally and internationally. These venues host both Autumn and Spring Racing Carnivals which include the Melbourne Cup, WS Cox Plate and Caulfield Cup. Local race tracks are also immensely popular in the southern state with races taking place in Ballarat, Seymour and other regional towns.
