Randwick – Race 6 – Inglis Spring Champion Stakes Betting Tips

The second of the four Group 1 races headlining Epsom Handicap Day at Randwick today is Race 6, the $400,000 Group 1 Inglis Spring Champion Stakes (2000m) due to jump at 2:50pm.

The 2010 Spring Champion Stakes features a brilliant 12-horse final field of three-year-olds lead by the pronounced favourite with the punters and bookies, Retrieve.

The Peter Snowden-trained Retrieve is paying $2.10 to win today at Sportsbet, the consistent colt coming off two successive wins including its last start victory in the Gloaming Stakes.

Drawn in barrier five, Retrieve is the horse to beat in the Spring Champion Stakes and is the Races.com.au pick.

Randwick – Race 6 – Inglis Spring Champion Stakes

Our second favourite Spring Champion Stakes pick is Erewhon, another from the stables of Peter Snowden, who his currently at $6 to win through Sportsbet.

Grey Commands gelding Erewhon ran second to its stablemate in the Gloaming Stakes last start and we are tipping the Snowden pair to finish one-two again today so try them in a Quinealla for a bit of extra value at Sportsbet.

Other runners high up the Spring Champion Stakes betting markets that could be good picks to include in a Trifecta with our selections are #6 Giresun and #5 Praecido.
