Prepared by master mentor Gai Waterhouse, Brightexpectations impressed many with bookies dramatically shortening their odds after their powerful win last start in the Pago Pago Stakes. With a run just last week at the same track and distance as the Golden Slipper, there is no reason to suggest that this promising More Than Ready colt can’t repeat the performance and secure the win on Saturday.
Brightexpectations has drawn ideally in barrier four and will be ridden by the masterful Nash Rawiller, who was aboard the colt for his Pago Pago stakes win.
