Nominations have been released for the Listed Streets Ice Cream Stakes over 1000m at Flemington this Saturday.
It is a $100,000 race for two-year-olds with 16 runners plus four emergencies.
There have been 23 nominations received for the race from stables based right around the country.
Peter Moody is very cautious when nominating his runners and will only do it if he thinks they have a genuine winning chance.
In this race he has two entered, both of which are likely to feature predominately on the betting markets.Golden Archer has only failed to win one of his four starts and that was a courageous third in a hot Blue Diamond Preview field.
Last start he won the listed Gold Sovereign Stakes in Launceston.
His stable mate is the very lightly raced Huegill.
Huegill was looking like a bit of a late market mover in the Silver Slipper Stakes before being scratched the day before the event.
He’s only had the one start which was in the Blue Diamond Prelude where he came third, only beaten by the rampaging Sepoy and Running Tall.
Make sure you come back to this page later in the week when we publish the final field and full form guide.
