Rich in history and prestige, the Doncaster always attracts a bumper field and this year is no different.

At the top of the bookmaker.com.au betting market at $2.20 is Pierro who brings serious class and form into the race.

Due to jump as Race 8 at 4:15pm (AEST) at Randwick this Saturday, the Doncaster has attracted a star-studded capacity 20-horse field plus one emergency.

In the mix are:

  • 13 Group 1 winners
  • A trio of three-year-olds
  • No former winners
  • Last year’s runner-up
  • One filly
  • Two colts
  • Four Chris Waller-trained horses
  • Three last-start winners

There’s no doubting this is a strong renewal of the Doncaster, so don’t stress if you are having trouble working out a winner. To help we have studied the form and history and are here to bring you some form and betting facts.
