The official 2018 Cox Plate Results saw history made with Chris Waller’s superlative mare Winx salute in the Moonee Valley classic for the fourth straight year. She became the only four-time Cox Plate winner in history, surpassing the previous record of three wins she co-held with Kingston Town, when defeating international raider Benbatl (2nd) and Darren Weir’s always-honest Humidor (3rd) who finished second to Winx in the race last year.

The Cox Plate 2018 winner Winx started at slightly longer odds than 12 months ago, saluting for the punters as the $1.24 top fancy.
