The official Cox Plate 2020 results saw the Ciaron Maher & David Eustace-trained Irish expat Sir Dragonet ($7.50) salute in his Australian race debut and hand jockey Glen Boss with his fourth victory in the 100th edition of the Australasian weight-for-age championship.
Previously prepared by Aidan O’Brien, the 2020 Cox Plate winner defeated his former stablemate Armory ($7.50) by just over a length, while the Danny O’Brien-trained favourite Russian Camelot ($3.50) rounded out the 2020 Cox Plate trifecta.
