Today, Thursday February 3rd, there are three TAB meetings set to run around the country for Aussie punters to get in on the horse racing and betting action.

  • Ballarat (VIC)Race 1 jumps at 1:00pm (AEDST) – Bet now at Luxbet

Today Ballarat Racecourse in Victoria will be home to a cracker eight-race programme starting with the $15,000 Come to Life Cycle Classic Maiden Plate (1200m) at 1:00pm (AEDST).

After the early maiden races punters will want to check the odds on the great handicap Ballarat races later in the day including Race 5 the $22,500 Tour of Victoria Country Showcase 0 – 68 Handicap (1600m) at 3:20pm (AEDST) where #9 It’s Lumsden is our pick of the field with a good barrier three draw and great recent form.

The other highlight is Race 6 the $22,500 Schweppes Country Showcase Super Vobis 0 – 72 Handicap (2300m) at 3:57pm (AEDST) featuring a classy field of stayers from which we are tipping #8 Efficacious to win their fourth race on the trot.

  • Hawkesbury (NSW) Race 1 jumps at 1:15pm (AEDST) – Bet now at Luxbet

In New South Wales the sole Thursday meet will run in Hawkesbury where the first of eight races, the $16,000 Grech’s Turf Supplies Maiden Plate (1200m), is due to jump at 1:15pm (AEDST).

Our tip of the day at Hawkesbury is in Race 4 the $16,000 Hi Quality Turf Class 1 Handicap (1000m) at 3:00pm (AEDST) where #3 Shoot Through can rise and win for John Thompson at good odds.

  • Bunbury (WA)Race 1 jumps at 4:07pm (AEDST) – Bet now at Luxbet

Later this afternoon Bunbury in WA will host eight top races starting at 4:07pm (AEDST) with the $10,000 Ace Insurance Maiden (1200m).

Best race on the Bunbury card this Thursday is Race 7 the $12,500 MGIB Handicap (1200m) at 7:57pm (AEDST) where #2 Army Miss looks hard to beat.
