Warwick Farm Racecourse is the home of Nash Rawiller and Gai Waterhouse on 2011 Chipping Norton Stakes Day with the jockey riding his third winner in a row.

Aboard the favourite #3 King Lionheart he mimicked his ride in Race 2 by going forward from a wide gate and waiting patiently on the outside before moving across at the turn.

During the trip he withheld challenges from a couple of runners which tried to take the lead but they never managed to break up his rhythm.

By the time they hit the strait it was a case of shut the gate after he opened up a two length lead and charged towards the line.

It was a good ride by Hugh Bowman on #7 Shawnee Girl who really attacked the front of the race to try and put pressure on King Lionheart but he was never going to be able to win the race.

It’s a similar story for Jim Cassidy with #4 The Warrior Woman which did enough to steal third on the line but is in a different class to the winner.

The outsider #13 Cyber Crime put in a better performance than his big odds would suggest and was one of the big movers earlier in the race and still had enough left to round out the first four.

Overall though it could be shaping as Gai’s Day with Rawiller bringing her wins in the last two events with plenty more chances to come later in the day.

If you want to jump on board Rawiller’s streak he’ll be on #4 Tromso in the next race, ironically trained by Chris Waller whose runners have been beaten to second and third by Rawiller in the last two races.
