Kicking off the Group 1 racing action at the meeting as Randwick Race 5 at 2:30pm (AEST) this year’s $500,000 Group 1 Inglis Sires Produce Stakes (1400m) features 13 hopefuls with Exceed And Excel filly Overreach odds-on at $1.60 to secure her second Group 1 following a smashing effort in the Golden Slipper just seven days earlier.
Overreach really is the benchmark juvenile this season having won all three of her assignments and looking on track to emulate star older stablemate Pierro in winning the Autumn 2YO Triple Crown continuing with the second leg this Saturday.
