Strong fields have been taken for all nine races on Dato’ Tan Chin Nam Stakes Day and the action is set to get underway with the running of the Ladbrokes Odds Boost Handicap (1600m) at 12:25pm local time.

Races 2, 3 and 4 have drawn open fields from a betting perspective and there is winning potential across the board, while the first black type race on Dato’ Tan Chin Nam Stakes Day will be contested when seven sprinters step out for the Group 2 McEwen Stakes (1000m), including Russian Revolution and Houtzen.

The Listed Atlantic Jewel Stakes (1200m) is also an open affair following the scratchings of Limestone and Roomooz, while Japanese import Brave Smash is potentially auditioning for a run in The Everest this season, when he leads a talent-rich field in the Listed Strathmore Community Bendigo Bank Stakes (1200m) at 4:10pm.

He’s Our Rokkii remains a clear favourite to gain the ballot-free exemption into the Ladbrokes Cox Plate that is allocated to the winner of the Dato’ Tan Chin Nam Stakes, while several smart milers will contest the final race of the day at 5:25pm.
