2013 Victoria Derby Day Scratchings & Track Report

Today, Saturday November 2, the opening Melbourne Cup Carnival feature race day takes place at the famous Flemington Racecourse with the full Victoria Derby Day 2013 field scratchings and track report detailed below.

Flemington Track Report – 02/11/2013

There’s a bumper day’s racing scheduled for Derby Day, the action set to kick off at 11:20am (AEST) with the $200,000 Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes (1600m).

There are then four elite level races headlining the program, including the day’s namesake race, the $1.5 million Group 1 AAMI Victoria Derby (2500m) running as Race 6 at 3:00pm (AEST).

Racing will continue right through until 5:10pm (AEST) when things come to an end with Race 9 – the $200,000 Group 3 TAB.com.au Stakes (1400m).

After the full nine race Victoria Derby Day card has played out, the highly anticipated release of the 2013 Melbourne Cup final field and barrier draw will then happen live from the track.
