Some of the season’s most exciting three-year-old sprinters are next on show in the Group 2 $1 million Arrowfield 3YO Sprint (1200m) at 2:00pm (AEST) and there are just four remaining runners with In The Congo, MazuPaulele and I Am Lethal left to battle it out after seven scratchings.

Elite level racing on The Championships Day 2 gets underway in Race 6 at 2:35pm (AEST) with the young staying fillies lining-up in the Group 1 $1 million Australian Oaks (2400m).

The 2022 Australian Oaks field is at near capacity with #11 Hardly Sweet (4), #12 Lekvarte (13) and #17 Chance Reward (16) out, while markets at Ladbrokes.com.au are led by Vinery runner-up Hinged and the Queensland star Gypsy Goddess.

Next-up the Group 1 $2 million Sydney Cup (3200m) runs over the two miles at 3:15pm (AEST) and the field remains intact with the likes of Adelaide Cup champ Daqiansweet Junior, Tancred Stakes runner-up Stockman and the flying Crystal Pegasus all in the mix.

The race all the fans are eagerly awaiting meanwhile is of course the Group 1 $4 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) and the star-studded field is set to jump from the gates at 3:55pm (AEDT).

The 2022 Queen Elizabeth Stakes features one of the best ensembles of the year with 11-time Group 1 winning mare Verry Elleegant facing off against the likes of All-Star Mile champ Zaaki, Tancred Stakes winner Duais and of course the brilliant three-year-old Anamoe.

The final Group 1 of the day is then set for Race 9 at 4:35pm (AEST) with Colette favourite for this year’s Group 1 $1 million Queen Of The Turf Stakes (1600m) where four have come out: #4 Shout The Bar (10), #5 Hungry Heart (11), #11 Mirra Vision (2) and #16 Yearning (7).
