Eclair Mystic is certainly one of the finest looking racehorses that will take to the course at Caulfield today when he jumps in race 3, the 2011 D’Urban Stakes. His history also shows this gelding has the form to back it up on the track as well.

With six wins and two placings from his eight career starts, Eclair Mystic has flourished under the expert guidance of trainer Robert Smerdon.

His last start win at Caulfield showed just how gutsy this horse his. After looking the winner into the home turn Eclair Mystic faced a huge push from Spirited Eagle and Linked In, but he managed to hold on in a close finish to see off his rivals and keep his Australian Guineas hopes alive.
