The 2020 Caulfield Guineas field will be released on Tuesday October 6, 2020 and will be published in full below along with the barrier draw.
A line-up of the season’s top three-year-old milers will make up the Caulfield Guineas field for 2020, early betting for which opens at Ladbrokes.com.au as soon as the nominations are out in early August.
Runners in the Caulfield Guineas field traditionally come off an earlier spring run in the Group 3 Caulfield Guineas Prelude (1400m) a fortnight out from the Group 1, and the best odds on the Caulfield Guineas field are available at Ladbrokes.com.au.
The official Caulfield Guineas 2020 Final Field & Barriers will be released below the week of the race.
The 2020 Neds Caulfield Guineas field features 15 final acceptors including the undefeated Chris Waller-trained Mo’unga rising in grade, last start Group 1 Golden Rose champion Ole Kirk and Peter Moody’s Stutt Stakes winner Glenfiddich.

There are 47 three-year-olds left in the mix following the 2020 Caulfield Guineas second acceptances with Hungry Heart for Chris Waller the only filly still entered.

The official 2020 Caulfield Guineas first acceptances have now been taken with 113 youngsters still in the mix, one more than at the same stage last year.
The Danny O’Brien-trained Flying Award is early favourite ahead of Blue Diamond champion Tagaloa and the talented Peter & Paul Snowden-trained King’s Legacy who won the Group 1 ATC Sires’ – Champagne Stakes double as a juvenile.

The official 2020 Caulfield Guineas nominations are now out with 264 three-year-olds making up the early entries led in pre-field betting by Blue Diamond Stakes winner Tagaloa and two-time Group 1 champ for Team Snowden King’s Legacy.
