It is sunny skies in Brisbane today and with no real chance of any significant rainfall, the current Good (4) Eagle Farm track rating looks set to remain across the afternoon’s racing.

Grand Prix Stakes Day is a key lead-up to the Gold Coast’s $10 million Magic Millions Race Day on January 11 and the racing gets underway today at 12:23pm (AEST).

The nine-race Eagle Farm card features a host of Magic Millions qualifiers plus the meeting’s namesake with the Group 3 $250,000 Grand Prix Stakes (2206m) set to run as Race 5 at 2:52pm.

The Grand Prix Stakes 2019 field is down to 11 starters following the early scratching of Alignment (6) and the updated markets at Ladbrokes.com.au are led by firming favourite Chains Of Honour ($3.30 into $2.25) for trainer Gerald Ryan.

The other Black-Type on the card is the Listed $140,000 Magic Millions Falvelon Quality (1200m) running as the penultimate event as a lead-up into the $1 million Magic Millions Snippets (1200m) next month.

See below for the latest Eagle Farm scratchings and Saturday track report for the Brisbane racing before heading to Ladbrokes.com.au for the weekend’s best odds and offers.
