Waller has entered four fillies in the total of twenty-one entries for The Bracelet with last start Sunshine Coast winner Improvise heading the quartet that includes Another Dollar, Impulsive and Velocita.

Improvise looks the pick of the Waller team and will head to The Bracelet on the back of a last start win in the Listed $100,000 Go Electrical Princess Stakes (1600m) at the Sunshine Coast on April 14.

Stable representative Paul Shailer said that the drop back the 1600m of the Princess Stakes was the reason Improvise was able to find the winner’s stall for a second time and the Hinchinbrook filly was now probably to be kept to distance around the mile.

“I think she is unlikely at this stage to head to the Oaks because I don’t think she will stay,” Shailer said.

“Chris might prove me wrong but at this stage she will be aimed at the shorter stakes races in the winter.”

Impulsive was well beaten when ninth behind Improvise in the Princess Stakes while Another Dollar scored a narrow win in a 1300m BenchMark 75 Handicap at Toowoomba on April 7 and Velocita was able to greet the judge first in a 1400m BenchMark 75 Handicap at Rosehill on Easter Monday.

The Chris Munce trained Skate To Paris will be flying the flag for the locals in The Bracelet after the filly has filled the minor placings at her last four starts with her latest being a third to Improvise in the Princess Stakes at the Sunshine Coast.

The final field for The Bracelet 2018 will be released on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
