Glamour mare More Joyous will be out to defend her title against an 11-horse field of fillies and mares in the 2012 Queen Of The Turf Stakes field at Rosehill Gardens this Saturday.

More Joyous is the horse to beat in the Queen Of The Turf Stakes
Despite not being at her best, the five-year-old recorded a solid victory in the Canterbury Stakes two weeks ago in what was her first race following a spell.
A winner of 16 from 23 starts, the Gai Waterhouse-trained mare is a five-time Group 1 winner and is a good chance of adding to her impressive resume when ridden by Nash Rawiller from barrier seven.
More Joyous dominated the event last year, taking victory by three lengths in front of Melito and Happy Hippy.
Cox Plate winner Pinker Pinker will be out to avenge a disappointing last-start effort in the Chipping Norton where she finished sixth in an eight-horse field.
The Greg Eurell-trained horse will have to produce a special effort to win the $400,000 event after today receiving an unfavourable barrier nine draw.
One horse with a favourable draw is Ofcourseican (4), who is coming into the 1500 metre race in blistering form.
She started the year promisingly with a third-place finish in the Triscay Stakes before dominating the Liverpool City Cup by three lengths and topping it off with a Group 1 win in the Coolmore Classic.
King’s Rose is another quality mare that has been included in the Queen Of The Turf Stakes final field but to win he will have to do so from the outside barrier.
The Peter Moody-trained horse has produced some good results in Group 1 races but is still chasing an elusive victory at the top level.
She finished runner-up in the Toorak Handicap and Emirates Stakes last year and is coming off a third-place finish in the Coolmore Classic on March 24.
One horse coming off victory is New Zealand mare Miss Keepsake who faces a step up in class this Saturday after winning a Handicap race at Kembla Grange on March 25.
