It is mostly sunny in Brisbane today and, without any rain on the radar, the current Good (4) Eagle Farm track rating is set to remain across the afternoon.
Eagle Farm racing gets underway at 11:43am (AEST) and the exciting nine-race card continues through until 4:37pm (AEST) when the sprinters face off in the Group 3 $175,000 W.J. Healy Stakes (1200m).
The 2022 WJ Healy Stakes field is down to 14 starters following three scratchings, with Team Snowden’s resuming Magic Millions 3YO Guineas winner King Of Sparta favourite.
Earlier, the opening Group race of the day is scheduled as Race 4 at 1:28pm (AEST) with the stayers doing battle in the Group 3 $200,000 Tattersall’s Cup (2400m).
The 2022 Tattersall’s Cup field is down to only seven starters with the withdrawal of #7 Alakahan (5), and markets are led by Matthew Smith’s $1.2 million The Q22 fourth placegetter Esti Feny.
Of course, the meeting’s marquee race is the Group 1 $700,000 Tattersall’s Tiara (1400m), set to run as Eagle Farm Race 8 at 3:53pm (AEST).
The 2022 Tattersall’s Tira field remains intact with all 17 original starters in play and only the emergencies coming out.
Heading the latest Tattersall’s Tiara 2022 odds online at Ladbrokes.com.au is returning Queen Of The Turf runner-up Annavisto, with Ciaron Maher & David Eustace’s Robert Sangster Stakes champ Snapdancer the danger in the outside barrier.
