The famous Gold Coast Magic Millions Race Day 2015, Queensland’s richest meeting, steals the attention of the racing industry today with a bumper eight-event program set to run worth over $4 million in prize money.

It’s a gorgeous day on the Gold Coast with sunny skies, just a hint of cloud cover, and an almost zero percent chance of rain meaning the current Soft (5) track is likely to firm as the afternoon progresses.

The opening race kicks things off at 12:10pm with the maidens facing off in the $100,000 Magic Millions Maiden Plate (1200m) before things conclude at 4:50pm with the $100,000 Magic Millions Class 6 Plate (1200m).
Between those are a host of lucrative showdowns including of course the day’s headliner, the $2 million Jeep Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) for the juveniles running as race six at 3:25pm.
A full 16 starters face off in the Classic this year with the five emergencies now officially withdrawn, the Ladbrokes.com.au markets led by market mover Wicked Intent ($6 into $4.80).
The other big event runs one race earlier at 2:40pm with the three-year-olds coming head-to-head in the $1 million Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (1400m).
The Magic Millions Guineas field lost two from the confirmed 16 starters with #6 Vienna Royale and #16 Herstory coming out, paving the way for the first and second emergencies #17 She’s Miss Devine and #18 Mister Booze to come in.
