Listed Streets Ice Cream Stakes Final Field 2011

The final field has been announced for the Listed Streets Ice Cream Stakes at Flemington this weekend on Australian Guineas Day.

The $100,000 race originally had 23 nominations however just eleven are expected to take to the track.

Peter Moody is everywhere this autumn and again he features in this race and again it’s with one of the favourites.

Golden Archer

Golden Archer is the top weight in the Listed Streets Ice Cream Stakes final field

Golden Archer was nominated for at least three different races this weekend but has accepted the Streets Ice Cream Stakes where he will enter as the top weight.

He will be carrying 57kgs, two more than any other runner but he did get lucky by claiming barrier three.

Of the light weight’s Ervbefel is a little two-year-old filly which showed great form in winning her first up race.

Last start wasn’t quite as impressive but for such a young and inexperienced race horse she could feature with only 53kgs and starting from barrier two.
