- Update: No. 10 Treasurethe Moment (9) has been scratched from Saturday’s All-Star Mile field.
The punters are coming for Ciaron Maher‘s exciting front-running queen Pride Of Jenni who chases a second win in the All-Star Mile 2026 as favourite at Flemington this weekend.

A double shot of elite-level racing headlines the card at HQ on Saturday with the sprinters doing battle in the Newmarket and the middle-distance gallopers facing off in another star-studded edition of the Group 1 $2 million The All-Star Mile (1600m).
Maher’s eight-year-old daughter of Pride Of Dubai won this event back in 2024 at Caulfield and will chase a second All-Star Mile trophy first-up in 2026 sitting top of the odds at $4.40 through Ladbrokes.com.au.
Winner of the Group 1 Empire Rose Stakes at the track and trip last Melbourne Cup Carnival, the veteran is back after a failed run for eighth when a Heavy course got the better of her in the Champions Mile seven days later.
She’s trialled up nicely including a winning Cranbourne jump out over Philia on February 23 still showing plenty of zest for racing.
No doubt her regular rider Declan Bates will take advantage of barrier two and take her straight to the front and how she shows up as a rising nine-year-old will be key to whether they can run her down and stop her from making history as the first two-time All-Star Mile champ.
The danger occupying the second line of All-Star Mile betting following closely at $4.80 is Treasurethe Moment for Matt Laurie.
Jumping from barrier nine with the flying Ben Melham coming aboard for the ride, the Alabama Express four-year-old is out to win back the love of the punters second-up after her third fresh as the beaten favourite in Caulfield’s Group 1 Futurity Stakes (1400m) on Blue Diamond Day.
She jumped odds-on that day for her campaign kickoff and was far from disgraced crossing just three-quarters of a length off the winner Pericles when just lacking a little late.
Fitter for the run with an imposing second-up record (4:3-1-0) she’s out to add to, she’ll relish getting out to her pet trip now at Flemington where she boasts three wins from four starts.
A four-time Group 1 winner, Treasurethe Moment oozes class and gets every chance to turn the tables on Pride Of Dubai at HQ after her second to her in the Feehan at Moonee Valley last year.
It is a wide-open edition of the All-Star this year with a further three runners also under $10 for the win including the defending champion Tom Kitten ($6).
The Godolphin-raced Harry Angel five-year-old got his confidence back fresh returning to winning form in an easier assignment to defeat Feroce narrowly in the Group 3 Kevin Heffernan on February 7.
He has won a subsequent trial at The Heath to keep him fit and firing as he looks to go back-to-back in Saturday’s feature in Melbourne.
Tom Kitten was sharp first-up, knuckling down late to reel in a well-rated Feroce and clocking closing splits that suggest he’s come back right on song.
Big race specialist Craig Williams is expected to settle him off the speed Pride Of Jenni will inject into the race, and he’s got the versatility to absorb the pressure and put himself into the frame late.
The other single figure fancies are Bjorn Baker‘s smart mare Stefi Magnetica ($7) and Chris Waller‘s early All-Star Mile market mover Buckaroo ($8.50).
Hugh Bowman of Winx fame is back to ride Stefi Magnetica from barrier four second-up with the All Too Hard five-year-old coming via Sydney’s Group 2 Apollo Stakes where she ran fifth behind the undefeated Autumn Glow.
Buckaroo meanwhile has support to hand Waller his first win in the All-Star after a huge return when second in the Futurity.
Catching the eye fresh, the Fastnet Rock seven-year-old has a solid second-up record (8:3-1-1) and rarely runs a bad race with his spring littered with Group 1 placings including in the Cox Plate (2nd), although he does remain winless since the 2024 Underwood.
There are plenty of longer-priced All-Star Mile contenders with claims including the Tony Gollan-trained Antino ($12) with the inside alley, Lindsay Park‘s underrated four-year-old Evaporate coming via a fourth in the Futurity and the Waller-trained Leica Lucy ($14).
The 2026 All-Star Mile is set to run as Flemington Race 7 at 3:40pm (AEDT) on Saturday’s 10-race card.
