All Aged Staked Day 2021 brings an end to Group 1 racing this Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival and below we have a look at the latest Randwick track report and scratchings ahead of the first today, Saturday April 24.
The weather in Sydney is partly cloudy but otherwise fine and without any serious rainfall on the radar the current Good (4) Randwick track rating looks set to remain across the afternoon.
Randwick racing gets underway at 11:55am (AEST) and the nine-race card is scheduled to continue through until 4:55pm (AEST).
The meeting is headlined by a double shot of elite level racing starting with the two-year-olds facing off in Race 6 at 2:55pm (AEST) for this year’s Group 1 $500,000 Champagne Stakes (1600m).
With the Inglis Sires’ winner Anamoe a non-acceptor, it is an open 2021 Champagne Stakes field and betting market with the runner-up Hilal ($3.60) and third-placed Captivant ($4.50) out of that Group 1 lead-up heading the odds at Ladbrokes.com.au.
The marquee event is next-up with the Group 1 $600,000 All Aged Stakes (1400m) set to run as Race 7 at 3:35pm (AEST) this afternoon.
The All Aged Stakes 2021 field features all 13 final acceptors including the well-supported favourite Masked Crusader ($2.90) out in barrier 12 and Godolphin’s Canterbury Stakes winning mare Savatiano ($6.50) kept fresh for this autumn assignment.
See below for the current Randwick race scratchings and All Aged Stakes Day jump times and before heading to Ladbrokes.com.au for today’s top racing odds.
