The 2011 Australian Guineas field features a capacity 16 runners plus four emergencies with ultra consistent Perth galloper Playing God the $5.50 favourite to win through Luxbet. However, with so many in-form three-year-olds fighting it out in this year’s Australian Guineas we are tipping an upset and have #11 Under The Eiffel rated special to win at their generous quote of $8.50 through Luxbet.

Hanks represents great value at $5.50 in the Luxbet markets, Peter Moody’s Encosta De Lago four-year-old set to improve from his recent runs with the addition of blinkers. Drops well back in the weights from 59kg last run in a Group 2 to 54.5kg here and also in class.
Mourayan drawn well in barrier two but has too much weight to challenge, Port Vell the other pick after a great effort to finish second to Vesper in the Listed Victoria Gold Cup over 2000m at Caulfield last week.
Tony Vasil’s Choisir filly Psychologist is second favourite in the odds behind Dubleanny but has a better draw (barrier three) and the speed to hit the front early and lead-all-the-way. She won first-up after a big 48 week spell last Friday night and will take plenty of catching.
Valentine Miss adds value to the Quinella, is fresh first-up here and will produce a good finish having shown her potential with a Group win during the spring.
