More Joyous is the early favourite for the 2011 Doncaster Mile
Premier online bookmaker Luxbet released their futures betting for the Group 1 Doncaster Mile (1600m) this week, with More Joyous the current $7.50 favourite.
More Than Ready four-year-old More Joyous finished fifth to superstar So You Think in the Cox Plate at her last race start on October 23, before which she scored back-to-back Group 1 wins in the George Main Stakes (1600m) at Randwick and the Toorak Handicap (1600m) at Caulfield.
The Doncaster Mile second-elect in the futures Luxbet markets is weight-for-age champion Whobegotyou paying $10.
Prepared by Mark Kavanagh, Street Cry five-year-old and dual Group 1 winner Whobegotyou enjoyed a good spring campaign that included a win in the Group 2 Dato Tan Chin Nam Stakes and a last start third in the Cox Plate at Moonee Valley.
Other top fancies to win the 2011 Doncaster Mile include Peter Moody’s unbeaten sprinter Black Caviar, defending Doncaster Mile champion Rangirangdoo and another star from Moody’s stables reigning Horse of the Year Typhoon Tracy, all sitting at a quote of $13 through Luxbet.
