Racing was originially scheduled for Bordertown in South Australia today, but the meet was cancelled late last week due to prevailing bad weather conditions and the forecast of more to come. Instead, the race meeting was transferred to Strathalbyn today.
Sale in Victoria is running 9 races today, while Wyong in New South Wales and Northam in Western Australia are both running 8 races. The other two race meets today, Sunshine Coast in Queensland and Strathalbyn in South Australia will both have 7 races.
Today’s racing will kick off at 12:03 (AEST) with Race 1, Guess Watches Maiden Plate 1208m, at Sale. The final race today will be in the West at 18:57 (AEST) with Race 8, The Barrier Crew Handicap 1000m, at Northam.
Currently the weather at Sale is fine and the tracked is rated dead, at Wyong it is overcast and the track is good, at the Sunshine Coast it is fine and sunny with a good track, at Strathalbyn it is fine but the track is slow.
