Burdekin Blues has raced home with an easy win in the 1100m Grazia Ultimate Style Guide Stakes.
Winning by over two lengths to runner-up Let Loushe and Happy Glen as third, Burdekin Blues was the race favourite and proved his ability early on in the race.
The five year old gelding took off early to take the lead position narrowly followed by Trader, Happy Glen and Diamonds At Dusk.
Despite having a few weight problems before the event, jockey S. Scriven managed to ride Burdekin Blues perfectly all the way to the finish line.
Trainer Barry Baldwin was delighted with the horse’s success particularly after he had endured back problems over the past few months.
“I’m sure you’ll see him again in February,” said Baldwin.
