The 2014 Victoria Derby results saw Sydney trainer Chris Waller win the classic for the first time with Preferment ($8.50) who gave jockey Damien Oliver his record fifth win in the race. Preferment narrowly held off Bondeiger ($11) while the Anthony Freedman-trained Nozomi ($41) added value to the winning 2014 Victoria Derby trifecta.
