Australia Day is shaping up as a beauty for punters with a cracker day of racing scheduled for Caulfield Racecourse and the odds for one of the feature Australia Day races, the $100,000 Listed Zeditave Stakes (1200m) have been released.

Ten horses have been accepted for the 2011 Zeditave Stakes with Eclair Mystic opening as the hot $2.90 favourite at Luxbet.

Drawn well in barrier four, the Robert Smerdon-trained Stratum gelding Eclair Mystic boasts an impressive career record of five wins and two thirds from their seven starts.

Most recently the three-year-old finished third behind Ahdashin in the Group 3 Standish Handicap (1200m) at Flemington on New Year’s Day.

Set to jump from the ideal barrier two, Ascot galloper Mister Moneypenny is another super consistent three-year-old coming off an impressive two and a half length win in the Westspeed 3YO Handicap at Ascot on January 8.

Unraced outside of Western Australia, Mister Moneypenny is well supported by the punters for their Melbourne debut tomorrow, especially with the drop back in weight from the 56.5kg they carried to victory last start to 55.5kg tomorrow.

Next in the market are Caulfield Guineas winner Anacheeva resuming racing for the season and Linked In both at $6.50.
