The 2025 Magic Millions 2YO Classic along with six other Magic Millions races were abandoned due to heavy rainfall and have been rescheduled for Friday night on January 17 under the lights at the Gold Coast.
The Magic Millions 2YO Classic 2025 is one of the richest races of the season and the rescheduled event takes place this Friday, January 17, at a special twilight meeting at the Gold Coast in Queensland featuring a capacity line-up of promising juveniles.

The Restricted Listed event is open to Magic Millions graduates and offers $3 million in stakes.
Sixteen two-year-olds will do battle over the 1200m as part of the 7-race Magic Millions Night 2025 card at Aquis Park featuring the events that were abandoned from Saturday’s washed out meeting.
The latest Magic Millions 2YO Classic odds online at Ladbrokes.com.au are led by the rails-drawn Memo ($5.50).
The classy Capitalist filly Memo ($8) for Peter Snowden is a big firmer since the original markets as she looks to break her maiden status at start number four.
She is bred to win with her sire, Capitalist, having won this race for Snowden back in 2015, and she’ll get every chance to emulate him from the inside alley with Kerrin McEvoy in the saddle.
Memo is third-up this prep, is a Group 3 placegetter, and is doing plenty right to suggest she’s been building to this.
One-time favourite, Invincible Woman, is now at $6 as one of the next best fancied in a wide-open market.
Based at Cranbourne and trained by Lloyd Kennewell & Lucy Yeomans, the nicely bred I Am Invincible filly comes off a winning debut back in mid-December when saluting in the Magic Millions VIC 2YO Classic (1100m) at Caulfield’s The Heath track.
She won that key summer lead-up by nearly three-lengths suggesting she’ll have no issues up to 1200m now.
Damian Lane retains the ride from a favourable barrier nine draw with Invincible Woman still dominant in Magic Millions 2YO Classic betting to remain undefeated.
Further boosting her chances are a winning trial here at the Gold Coast on New Year’s Eve and the solid record of fillies in the event including Coolangatta (2021) and Skirt The Law (2022).
Also at $6 in betting on the Magic Millions Classic this Friday night following closely is Craig Williams‘ mount La Bella Boom ($7.50) with Tony Gollan‘s filly chasing a hat-trick.
At $7.50 is Icarian Dream for master horseman Ciaron Maher.
Icarian Dream suffered an early blow drawing the extreme outside alley so will jump from barrier 16 of 16 with emergencies out.
Houtzen in 2017 was the last Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner to salute from out in gate 16.
Despite the wide alley there has been early money for Maher’s exciting Blue Point filly who has been well backed to overcome the draw and post her third career win.
She caught the eye in Sydney’s $1 million Golden Gift when only a length back fourth last November before a Rosehill second and then quality win in the Group 3 BJ Mclachlan Stakes (1200m) at Eagle Farm on December 21.
In the Mclachlan she beat home Cool Archie by 1.5 lengths from a double-digit draw and looks a genuine danger to salute again here.
The other single-figure fancy slightly shorter now at $6.50 is the Hawkes Racing trained Gallo Nero in gate five with Tyler Schiller riding the last start Randwick winning colt.
It is a typically open betting affair with a host of other single figure fancies looking to win their way into the Magic Millions history books including first emergency Space Rider ($8) with the Zoustar colt coming off a big 3 length debut at Eagle Farm over this distance.
The rescheduled 2025 Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic is set to run as the Gold Coast Race 2 at 6:03pm (AEST) on Friday’s seven-race card
