Weir’s four-year old backs up following a win in the Chandler Macleod (1500m) at The Valley last week in which he sat one-off the pace to storm home around the bend and win by a length.
Weir has never trained a winner of the Kennedy Mile, while jockey Jye McNeil will receive the ride.
