The Peter Snowden trained Skytrain has beaten home race favourite Streama in the Group 3 Southern Cross Stakes at Warwick Farm.

With rain still falling and the track downgraded to a heavy 10, Skytrain proved his ability in the wet to win by 1.8 lengths from Streama. Onthelookout finished third.
Streama, first up this preparation, had a good run in the trying conditions.
Lonhro 7-year-old gelding Skytrain has now won 9 races from 31 stars, with 5 of them coming on heavy rated tracks.
Today’s win continues Skytrain’s good form after their last start 1/2 length second to Happy Galaxy in the Expressway Stakes.
