Last year’s Horse of the Year and reigning Orr Stakes champion Typhoon Tracy is an easing favourite to win Caulfield Race 7 today with online bookmaker Sportsbet.

The Typhoon is $2.50 out to $2.80 with [sportsbet] – one of the best price currently available anywhere – on the back of support for stablemate Doubtful Jack ($6.50).

“Typhoon Tracy is no doubt the best horse in the race but it’s been a long time between drinks for the mighty mare and support is starting to come for her rivals, most notably her stable mate Doubtful Jack,” said Sportsbet’s Haydn Lane.

“She has a wide gate and might not get the lead as easy as she’d like.”

It’s a different story in the Breeders Classic at Randwick with almost all predicting that More Joyous ($1.50) will make light work of the field.

“We think More Joyous simply looks unbeatable in the Breeders Classic and the punters agree,” said Lane.

“Montana Flyer has beaten her in two trials this time in but Nash had a strangle hold on her both times.”
