First up at Canterbury on Friday night is the $27,000 Pony Express Holdings Handicap (1900m) where a field featuring three-year-olds prepared by Sydney’s leading trainers will face off.

Our favourite in Race 1 is Silent Reward for Gai Waterhouse, seeking their third straight win tonight after their impressive six length victory in Newcastle on January 8 and their last start success at this track and distance three weeks back.
