The Chris Waller-trained Rangirangdoo claimed an impressive victory at Rosehill on Saturday in the $200 000 Group 2 Expressway Stakes (1200m).
Rangirangdoo ($4.40) beat home runner-up Dao Dao ($6) by a long head with the odds-on favourite McClintock ($3.80) in third.
The sprint feature had only five contenders following the scratching of Court, Prima Nova and Gathering.
Winning trainer Chris Waller?s other Expressway Stakes runner, Danleigh ($3.90) finished a disappointing last.
Rangirangdoo?s impressive win means he may be aimed at the Group 1 Doncaster Handicap (1600m) at Randwick on April 17.
