Prior to his Group 1 test in Adelaide, he won a Caulfield race over the 2400m by over two lengths and so is proven at the distance and presents fit.
The danger following closely at Queensland Derby odds of $6.50 is the nicely bred Tivaci gelding King Of Thunder drawn wider out in gate 14 for jockey Mark Zahra.
The consistent John O’Shea & Tom Charlton trained galloper has winning form up to 1900m and brings in some strong form lines.

Other Queensland Derby contenders being kept safe in the markets include the rails-drawn Ocean Park gelding Party Crasher ($10) chasing his fourth win from six career starts, Phillip Stokes‘ South Australian Derby winning filly Femminile ($10), progressive Super Seth gelding Maison Louis ($13), and recent ATC Derby runner-up Firm Agreement ($15).
The 2025 Ladbrokes Queensland Derby is set to run as Eagle Farm Race 8 at 3:52pm (AEST) on Saturday’s nine-race card.
