The Gold Coast Racecourse comes alive on Thursday hosing the remaining eight Magic Millions Races abandoned on Saturday due to the inclement weather including the $2 million Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (1400m).

A class field of gun three-year-olds is gathered for this year’s Guineas including the in-form favourite Yellow Brick from the Toowoomba stables of Tony & Maddysen Sears.
The Mission gelding has won five of his six starts to date and was last seen defeating Alpine Edge by over a length over 1200m at his home track on New Year’s Eve.
With winning form up to a mile, the step-up to 1400m looks ideal second-up for Ben Thompson’s mount who has a solid second-up record and ideal barrier five draw.
The latest Magic Millions 3YO Guineas odds online at Ladbrokes.com.au have Yellow Brick at $3.90.
Following closely on the second line of Magic Millions Guineas betting this summer is the early market mover Russian Conquest into $4 for the Snowden stable.
The nicely-bred Peter & Paul Snowden-trained daughter of Russian Revolution is out to be the first filly to beat home the boys in the event since Flying Jess in 2017.
She comes from the right stable with the Snowdens having prepared the past two Magic Millions 3YO Guineas winners Aim (2021) and King Of Sparta (2022).
It has been a while between drinks for Russian Conquest who hasn’t won since Boxing Day 2021.
She was runner-up by a narrow margin behind Coolangatta in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic on this day 12 months ago, is a multiple Group 1 performer and caught the eye with her close second in the Listed Gosford Guineas (1200m) a fortnight ago.
Also well-backed at at single-figures to win with the Tony Gollan-trained Queenslander Spiritualised at $8.
Jockey James Orman rides the Spirit Of Boom colt from a wide gate 16 draw as Spiritualised looks to add to his strong record of four wins and four minor placings from nine starts.
He won his first Gold Coast start two Saturdays back putting a margin on them in the Magic Millions Rising Stars event over 1300m two weekends back and is on the quick back-up on Thursday.
Brisbane horseman Gollan also saddles-up his Latakia ($14) in this year’s Magic Millions 3YO Guineas field with the Deep Field filly also coming off a January 7th win over 1300m here defeating Bella Rouge by a half-length.
The Ben & JD Hayes-trained American Pharoah colt Tijuana carries the 58kg top-weight as a $11 shot in betting.
Winner of the Group 2 Stutt Stakes at The Valley over a mile last September before a brave fifth when under a length off Golden Mile in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas, he races fresh in the Gold Coast MM Guineas first-up in gate seven.
Also being kept safe in betting are the likes of the John O’Shea-trained Wyong Magic Millions 3YO & 4YO Guineas winner Hell I Am ($10 into $9) coming off a Gosford Guineas third, multiple Black-Type winning Snitzel filly Stroll ($18) to be ridden by Craig Williams and the flying local gelding Soothsayer ($15) out wide chasing a fourth win on the trot.
