  • Weather: Overcast
  • Dual Track Meeting: N
  • Track Type: Turf
  • Track Rating: Heavy 9
  • General Comment: Finalised 8/8 – 7:45am

A current Heavy (9) Rosehill track rating and the chance of more thunderstorms throughout the day has seen a host of scratchings across the nine-race card.

Racing at Rosehill gets underway at 11:15am (AEST) and continues through until the last at 4:55pm (AEST), which is sure to be run on a very choppy track.

The meeting’s marquee event – the Group 2 $200,000 Missile Stakes (1200m) – runs as Race 7 at 3:35pm (AEST) and has been ravaged by scratchings.

Seven withdrawals from the 2020 Missile Stakes field leaves six remaining runners led in betting by 10-time winning Kiwi mare Melody Belle ($2.80) and the Joe Pride-trained Eduardo ($2.90) who are battling for favouritism.

The three-years-old sprint has seven current runners with three scratchings from The Rosebud 2020 field including Rulership for Peter & Paul Snowden.
