More Joyous is hot favourite to win the Canterbury Stakes 2011

Rosehill Racecourse is host to today’s cracker nine-race Coolmore Classic Day programme, one of the early features at the autumn meeting being the $175,000 Group 2 Canterbury Stakes (1300m).

Running as Rosehill Race 4 at 2:10pm (AEDST) this afternoon, the 2011 Myer Canterbury Stakes features a five-horse field lead by odds-on favourite More Joyous.

Gai Waterhouse’s stable frontrunner More Joyous is a top-class mare boasting all the talent and form for this and she is the deserved favourite to win the Canterbury Stakes through Luxbet.

Opening at the top of the 2011 Canterbury Stakes odds at a near unbackable quote of $1.28, the punters have still been keen to take More Joyous.
