The 2011 Australian Guineas Day races have been run and won at Flemington today. A total of eight races, including the Group 1 Australian Guineas and four Listed races, treated punters and spectators alike to some top quality racing and some upset results.

In the feature event of the day, the 2011 Australian Guineas, Shamrocker produced a boil-over to win from Bullbars and favourite Playing God. Shamrocker paid $39.60 at Luxbet for the win and is now looking to move onto the AJC Australian Oaks.

Race 7 on the card today, the Listed Bob Hoysted Handicap, was memorable for Peter Moody and Luke Nolen when Master Harry won giving the pair their 500th win together.
