Kicking off the sensational Group racing action at Caulfield’s Blue Diamond Stakes Day on Saturday is the $180,000 Group 2 Angus Armanasco Stakes (1400m) and below are the best 2011 Angus Armanasco Stakes betting tips.
Scheduled as Caulfield Race 3 and due to jump at 1:50pm (AEDST), the 2011 BMW Angus Armanasco Stakes 10-horse field is lead by clear favourite Zelsnitz.
The Peter Moody-trained Snitzel filly is paying $3.60 through Luxbet to win the Angus Armanasco this year, despite the stakes winner drawing out wide with barrier 10.
Zelsnitz is second-up for the season having most recently run fifth as the beaten favourite in the Listed Kevin Hayes Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on February 12.
She is back to her preferred 1400m distance on Saturday, but is yet to win second-up.

The daughter of Elvstroem is coming off a second in the Kevin Hayes Stakes where she had the same barrier as in the Angus Armanasco, before which she enjoyed a victory at Caulfield despite striking late interference.
It will be close but Miss Elvee will nudge out Zelsnitz for the win.
