The forecast in Sydney is for scattered showers meaning there is unlikely to be an upgrade to the current Soft (7) Rosehill track rating.
Racing at Rosehill gets underway with a two-years-old handicap at 11:35am (AEST) and the nine-race card continues through until the last with a BenchMark 78 at 4:35pm (AEST).
The sole Black-Type on the program runs as Race 7 at 3:15pm (AEST) with the Listed $150,000 Winter Stakes (1400m), a race won by many nice types over the years including subsequent 2020 Group 1 George Ryder Stakes winner Dreamforce (2018).
This year’s 2020 Winter Stakes field is down to 10 runners with the early scratching of the Clarry Conners-trained Girl Tuesday (4) and updated odds at Ladbrokes.com.au – available in full here – are led by Kim Waugh’s Civic Stakes winner Trumbull ($3.50).
