Rosehill Gardens will play host of Sydney’s premier race card this afternoon, highlighted by a number of talent-rich black type events including the featured Group 1 Golden Rose (1400m) for three-year-olds.

It is a beautiful day in the greater Sydney metropolitan area and the Rosehill Gardens track has been rated a Good 3 – the Penetrometer returning a reading of 4.56.
The action is set to get underway with the running of the Ranvet BM80 (1800m) at 12:40om; culminating in the TAB Rewards BM90 (1400m) at 5:05pm.

Only eight runners remain in contention for the 2015 Golden Rose following the scratching of credible contender Gold Symphony earlier this week, but the race looks set to be one of the most well-contested editions in years.
One of three Godolphin entrants in the race, Exosphere remains outright $3 favourite to win the Golden Rose ahead of Press Statement and talented filly Speak Fondly.
The Group 2 Theo Marks Stakes (1400m) will see the return of several exciting Spring Carnival prospects, while the Group 3 Sheraco Stakes (1200m) and Group 3 Kingston Town Stakes (2000m) will also be contested.
