After drawing well with barrier six for his second Group 1 run this season on Saturday, the Peter Moody-trained Dissident has firmed further at the top of the 2014 Makybe Diva Stakes odds.
Pre-field release for this year’s $400,000 Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) at Flemington the Sebring four-year-old was paying $3.30 to win and secure his second elite level trophy in as many starts.
First-up on August 30 Dissident made his 4YO debut and beat home a top field in Caulfield’s Group 1 Memsie Stakes (1400m) as a $14 chance.
Now he has firmed right into $3.10 through Ladbrokes.com.au in their Makbye Diva Stakes betting markets to win his third Group 1 trophy and win his first ever start at Victoria’s premier track.
