The Group 3 Cameron Handicap took place at Newcastle Racecourse today September 18, 2013, and was taken out by Toydini.
Toydini cruised to victory in the 2013 Cameron Handicap ahead of High Esteem, who placed second, and Scream Machine, who passed the post in a gallant third position.
The Guy Walter-trained Toydini was paying odds of $5.80 to win the 2013 Cameron Handicap at Ladbrokes.com.au.

The win now guarantees Toydini entry into the Group 1 Epsom Handicap, which will take place at Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday October 5, 2013.
Toydini was previously balloted at equal 26th on the order of entry for the $500,000 Epsom Handicap, but will now safely secure his spot in the field.
Jockey Blake Shinn was confident the Bernardini gelding could win today’s 2013 Cameron Handicap from the beginning.
“In terms of horses, I wouldn’t swap Toydini for anything,” Shinn said.
“Toydini has got a wide gate and big weight, but he’s a class horse who I certainly think is good enough to overcome it.
“He hasn’t put a foot wrong this preparation, he’s improved since his first-up run, and he won second-up in the Phar Lap Stakes over 1500m last preparation.”
The four-year-old has now won four of his 15 race starts and has earned close to $380,000 during his career.
Prior to today’s 2013 Cameron Handicap win, Toydini placed fifth in the Group 2 Warwick Stakes at Warwick Far Racecourse on August 24, 2013.
Walter then opted to trial the galloper at Randwick over 1,200 metres on September 9, where he placed second behind the talented Arabian Gold.
