Darren Weir-trained mare Wealth Princess will be out to continue her successful return from injury when she lines up in Saturday’s Group 2 2012 Dane Ripper Stakes (1400m).

Classy mare Wealth Princess will run from barrier six in the Dane Ripper Stakes
The New Zealand-bred six-year-old had a sensational 2010 Brisbane Carnival but then missed nearly two years through injury before picking up where she left off earlier this month.
The daughter of St Luis missed out when second by a neck first-up at Warrnambool but then produced a dominant display to win the Group 3 Glenlogan Park Stakes at Doomben on May 19.
Despite being six-years-old, the injury has meant Wealth Princess has had just 13 starts and from that she has recorded seven victories and placed on five other occasions.
Michael Walker rode her throughout her 2010 Brisbane campaign and he will continue his association with her this weekend when she jumps from barrier six.
Chris Waller-trained mare Red Tracer is another Dane Ripper contender with good credentials despite some mixed results during the Sydney Autumn Carnival.
The four-year-old has a good first-up record, has a Group level victory to his name and impressed during a barrier trial at Hawkesbury earlier this month.
A daughter of Dane Shadow, Red Tracer boasts a quality resume of seven wins from 17 starts and has collected over $500,000 in prize money.
Four-year-old mare Divorces finished fifth in her last start in the Lord Mayor’s Cup but is another horse who is used to running in Group level company.
Trained by Peter Snowden, the daughter of Domesday produced two promising runs in the Sydney Autumn Carnvial when third in both the Group 3 Birthday Card Stakes and Emancipation Stakes.
Robert Heathcote-trained four-year-old Fillydelphia has struggled slightly in 2012 but has shown in the past she is capable of producing good performances.
The Brisbane-based mare has a decent career record of eight wins from 25 starts and boasts a prize pool of more than $370,000.
Other horses named in the Dane Ripper Stakes field include Group level winner Screen, last-start winner Upon This Rock and Michael Lakey-trained Risk Aversion.
