Solar Charged was scheduled to make a comeback from her spell earlier this month, but it was during the abandoned meet at Caulfield, and is now first up today in the Rubiton Stakes.
It shouldn’t cause too many headaches though with the classy filly winning two from three first up as well as a placing.
Trainer John O’Shea couldn’t be happier with the preparation and is quietly confident of taking out the Rubiton Stakes.
“She’s good, really good, really happy and healthy, big and strong and done really well,” O’Shea said.
“She’s had a faultless campaign.”
The confidence of O’Shea has been reflected in betting markets as well with Solar Charged claiming second favouritism at a $5 fixed price on Luxbet, that’s just a dollar outside current top tip Catapulted.
There will be no complaints as to which horse is in better shape at the end of the race as Solar Charged starts from barrier three right alongside Catapulted in four.
Solar Charged has just the three wins from nine starts including another three placings. She did win her second last start though in good form and it was at the same track.
She definitely has a big chance in this race and needs to put in a good run to prove her quality as filly. If you fancy her chances why not take advantage of a risk free $400 free bet thanks to premiere online bookies Luxbet!
