Victoria’s Ballarat Racecourse is set to host a bumper nine-race programme today starting at 12:25pm (AEDST) with the $15,000 Tracy the Placement People Maiden Plate (1400m).

After the earlier maiden races some top class handicaps are on the Ballarat card today including Race 6 – the $15,000 Optus Business Rising Stars 0 – 62 Handicap (1100m) at 3:20pm (AEDST) where we like #10 Symphonize to win after a great start to their career with three placings from as many runs.

The last two races are the richest events on the card and in Race 8, the $22,5000 Tour of Victoria Country Showcase 0 – 72 (1400m) at 4:35pm (AEDST), we are tipping #8 Wild ‘n’ Stormy to win at good odds.
