The 2010 Hawkesbury Gold Cup has attracted a final field of 10 gallopers, with Thankgodyour’ehere the favourite.
Trained by Patrick and Wayne Webster, Secret Savings gelding Thankgodyou’rehere is a super consistent five-year-old that has won six of their 10 career starts and placed second in another three, the shortest-priced runner in the Gold Cup currently paying $2.40 at Luxbet.
Due to be ridden by regular rider Rod Quinn, Thankgodyou’rehere is drawn in barrier six and is an excellent lightweight chance carrying just 53kg.
Close second favourite in the odds is Glintz at $2.60.
The John O’Shea-trained Pins gelding is coming off four consecutive wins, including their last-star victory over 1500m at Rosehill.
