The 2010 Emirates Stakes is the final Group 1 race of the iconic Melbourne Cup Carnival, set to take place at Flemington as the headline event of Emirates Stakes Day on Thursday November 6.
Worth $1 million in prize money, the Group 1 Emirates Stakes (1600m) is a prestigious handicap feature that will attract a field of the season’s best milers.
Run on the last of the four Cup Carnival racedays, the Emirates Stakes is one of nine races held at the meeting, the other highlight for punters being the Group 1 Patinack Farm Classic (1200m).
